I offer private and group music lessons for piano, woodwinds, brass, voice, music discovery, and beginner guitar. My current students range in age from 18mos. – 65 years. Music Makers and Toddler Tunes are classes that I offer to students from 18 mos. – 5 years.

Every student is different and each private lesson is directed, through materials and activities, to meet each student's needs. Group activities, theory classes, recitals, and service projects enhance learning. Interested students may also participate in area competitions.

Most private students take one half hour lesson per week. Between lessons it is very important that students practice at home to reinforce concepts and develop the strength and dexterity needed to improve. Consistent playing and good use of practice time is more important than spending hours at a time rehearsing. Students are required to keep a playing log. This is most beneficial when a parent checks the log periodically throughout the week to make sure the child is doing what's asked and to log practice times.
